As part of this commitment these terms and conditions have been drawn up with the aim to protect all parties through a better understanding of contractual and legal obligations of both the client and PARROTS Boutique Resort when confirming an accommodation booking.
Definitions:
All bookings are subject to the following terms;
At the time of booking, We will charge the full payment for the reservation.
Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy.
No booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in this paragraph have been provided and a booking reference number issued by the Resort
The contract between us will only be formed when we issue you with booking reference number and will relate only to the booking associated with the booking reference number.
Any party that is not a party to the contract between us does not have any right to enforce any of these terms or conditions.
Please note that you cannot transfer or resell your booking (in whole or in part). If you transfer or resell (or attempt to transfer or resell) then the Resort will terminate your booking and retain any money paid to us for such booking.
In making a room booking you agree to not use the Resort or its facilities to conduct any commercial activity or activity that seeks to gain profit without prior written consent from the Resort.
The Resort reserves the right to terminate your booking and retain any money paid to us for such booking if we believe that you are in full or part breach of this provision.
You may make a booking on someone else’s behalf. However, you are responsible for ensuring that any customer in your booking complies with these terms as if that customer had made the booking.
You can only make a booking if you are 18 years old or over.
If you arrive at the hotel and are under 18 years of age you will not be permitted to stay alone. We may require photo ID as proof of age.
The price for each unit is as published and will be advised at the time of booking. All prices are per suite per night based on the room/unit occupancy as disclosed at the time of booking.
All payments are due in full at the time of booking.
We accept the following methods of payment: Cash (PHP – Philippine Peso) and major Credit and Debit Cards through PayPal. We do not accept cheques.
All payment card data that we process, store or transmit adheres to the Data Security Standards as defined by the Payment Card Industry.
You can check in from 2 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. If you wish to check in earlier please ask at the time of booking.
On the day of departure we respectfully ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11:00 am, unless a later check out is agreed in writing at the time your booking. Check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at the discretion of the Resort.
At the time of check-in we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, taxes and any service charge) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/debit card. We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorisation by another valid form of payment, including cash.
All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will he held until 11:59 pm on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Resort. Any non-secured reservation will be held until 4 pm on the day of arrival at which time we will be entitled to re-let the room, unless the guest has notified the Resort of a late arrival.
During your stay the Hotel will calculate the incidentals charged to your room on a daily basis. All such charges must be paid for in full on check-out from the Resort.
Our Resort staff will be very happy to assist our guests.
Unfortunately, due to the construction restrictions, wheelchair accessibility to the first floor is via stairs.
Please contact the Resort to discuss any specific requirements and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Children of all ages are very welcome at PARROTS Boutique Resort.
However, children are solely the responsibility of their parents/carers and must be accompanied by and be under parental / guest adult guidance and supervision at all times.
If a child (a person under 18 years of age) arrives at the Resort, they will not be permitted to stay unless accompanied by an adult.
Children under the age of 24 months or who are not potty trained must wear diapers at all times when in any common areas.
Children are not permitted to use the pool naked.
The changing of diapers and breast feeding is not permitted in public areas, kindly use the private areas of your accommodation.
Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Resort procedures and / or requests with regard to conduct and respect for other guests, the property of the Resort, its employees and their health and safety. We respectfully ask that guests do not disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Resort or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff.
The hotel caters to guests seeking peace, luxury and tranquility.
To ensure that all our guests experience the atmosphere and security they expect during their stay with us, please be advised that the creation of excessive noise or disturbance (such as loud, in suite parties; more than two registered occupants per bedroom in a suite; etc.) is prohibited anywhere on the property.
To enforce this policy, PARROTS Boutique Resort reserves the right to eject from the property any person(s) found contravening this policy.
In the case where any such person is a registered guest, the resort reserves the right to summarily and immediately cancel their reservation and any deposit on account shall be forfeited.
Our facility does cater for functions, however – this is subject to approval from the Hotel management.
No music allowed at the pool. Guests are expected to use personal headphones.
To comply with the local Port Barton community rules, there shall be no music or loud noise permitted after 11 pm.
Only registered guests are permitted in the resort after 11 pm.
In circumstances where our terms and conditions are disregarded, the resort reserves the right at any time to refuse or immediately cancel a reservation and any deposit on account will be forfeited, should any one or more of, but not limited to, the following occur:
Maximum occupancy per suite depends on the number of bedrooms within the suite type.
Our suite rates allow for accommodation of one person per bedroom and the second person sharing the same bedroom does not incur any extra charge.
We do offer accommodating a third person in the “Macaw” unit for an additional charge – subject to availability.
Any change of such name must be informed to the resort prior to Check-In.
If upon Check-In, it is disclosed that the reservation is to be claimed for accommodation of guests with names that do not exactly match at least one of the names provided at time of reservation, a copy of the resort’s acceptance of the name change will be required to Check-In.
The hotel management reserves the right to refuse any booking at their discretion.
In such a case, any monies paid by the guest will be fully refunded.
Conduct / behaviour that We reasonably consider inappropriate / unacceptable includes but is not limited to; creating an inappropriate level of noise and / or drunken or unruly behaviour and / or any behaviour which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Resort if, in our reasonable opinion, We consider this provision to have been breached.
Where this is the case shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party.
Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure.
If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
Please advise the Resort of any special dietary requirements / allergies etc. that you or any of your guests may have and / or any special arrangements for children at the time of booking.
Guide dogs are welcome with prior arrangement and permission at the time of booking, but otherwise no pets are allowed at the Resort.
The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.
For rates marked as “Flexible Rate” – These are cancellable without charge up to 2 pm local time 7 days before the day of arrival.
Cancellation and non-arrival charges apply after the relevant time and will be charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to charge for one night’s accommodation per room booked if the above cancellation requirements are not met.
All other rates require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and this is non-refundable and the Booking non-changeable.
Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking.
Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation we reserve the right to do so. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation.
Your booking is for a class of unit at the Resort and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific unit for the duration of your stay. If we need to move you to a different unit during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.
The Resort will not be responsible for theft or damage to any vehicles or contents of vehicles in our car park.
Any vehicles parked at the Resort are done so entirely at the drivers / owners risk.
We ask guests to smoke outdoors only, and that they use the cigarette ashtrays provided.
In the event you or any member of your party smoke inside your accommodation we reserve the right to charge you for specialist cleaning to make the room fit as a non-smoking environment.
We respectfully remind you that any items brought into the Resort, its car park or grounds including valuables, are brought in at your own risk.
The Resort shall not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the guest or anyone connected to the guest’s event / stay at the Resort, whether the items were left before, during or following the stay / function.
Through the use of CCTV and appropriate security measures, the Resort seeks to minimise the opportunity for the theft of or loss of guests property. However, PARROTS Boutique Resort shall not accept any liability for lost, stolen or damaged property.
We respectfully remind you that any items brought into the Resort, its car park or grounds including valuables, are brought in at your own risk.
The Resort shall not be held responsible for the damage or loss of any property owned by the Client or anyone connected to the Client’s event at the Resort, whether the items were left before, during or following the stay / function.
Any party which is not a party to our Contract shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts.
The Resort accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to; global pandemic, typhoon, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused by any member of his/her party, whether in the accommodation or in any part of the Resort grounds and car park and shall pay for such damage or loss of business caused as a result.
All items and furniture in your accommodation is the property of PARROTS Boutique Resort.
We therefore reserve the right to charge you for the full replacement cost for any item or piece of furniture removed from your room.
If you, or any member of your party, damage any bedding or linen, we reserve the right to charge you for specialist cleaning.
Lost keys will result in a charge for replacement keys being levied.
If you breach these Terms and Conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.
In the event that one or more of the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid by a competent authority, the remaining terms shall continue to have effect and you will still be bound by them.
No alcohol may be brought into the Resort or grounds by the client or guests for consumption on the premises.
All prices are inclusive of all relevant taxes at the current rate where appropriate.
Whilst PARROTS Boutique Resort has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that the information contained in its brochure, tariffs, leaflets and advertising is accurate, it reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or amenity without prior notice if necessary.
No variation of these conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed on behalf of PARROTS Boutique Resort
While all reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the accuracy of information on the Website, the Resort does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the Website without notice.
The content of the Website is the copyright of the Resort, and may not be copied, reproduced, published, distributed or amended for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
Trade marks used on the Website are the property of the respective owners. Hyperlinks to third party websites are provided for your convenience.
We cannot accept responsibility for the content or use of third party sites.
